Our Team

Meet our amazing team of trainers!

  • Tash Clode (Owner)

I am Tash and I am the owner of Health High. I am Mum to 3 little ones and I am married to Nick! I specialise in training women through all stages of life and I am passionate about helping people to find the joy in movement. I see movement as an amazing vehicle to help you feel more energised, stronger, confident, fitter and ready to take control of your health.

Having a young family, I know that life gets busy! My aim is to help you to prioritise your health and carve out time for you, despite the busyness! Perhaps you want to attend your first Bootcamp, complete your first adventure race, run a 5km or just make a start with exercising regularly. Having someone with the knowledge to support you means that you will move towards your goals with greater certainty and confidence.

Alongside being a certified Personal Trainer, I specialise in training clients through pregnancy and postpartum. I created our popular Mamas on the Move programmes and love supporting Mums to be and Mums! I also run some of our Bootcamp sessions.

My ultimate goal is to support women with evidence based knowledge and guidance so that they feel empowered to take charge of their health and keep moving in a way that feels good for them through the more challenging periods!

  • Katrina Walker

My name is Katrina. I am a qualified personal trainer, yoga instructor and I am studying my pre and postnatal certification in coaching. My role at Health High involves running some of our Mamas on the Move sessions, Bootcamps and I lead our Reset yoga sessions.

My husband Trevor and I have three amazing teenagers. Being active is, I believe, a key ingredient in having a balanced lifestyle. It allows us to have more options and freedom in our everyday life and gives us the ability to experience a more active lifestyle.

Juggling life with teenagers and a husband who is away for many weeks with work, I've often found it hard to find the motivation to exercise. My goal is to help with that common stumbling block of motivation, by providing an exercise space that is encouraging, fun, and motivating. Whether this is in Bootcamps, Mamas on the Move, Yoga or Personal Training, I’m wanting to help you find that motivation.

My ultimate goal is to be a supportive and motivating presence in the lives of people that I work with.

  • Nick Clode

I’m Nick. My interest in health and fitness started at the age of 14 after my dad (who was 45 at the time) had a heart attack. This event had a significant impact on me as I watched his rehabilitation and attempted to support his recovery. I had always been an active kid, interested in sport, but had no real interest in health. That changed. At 18 I did a sport science degree and did my final year research looking at safety and effectiveness of particular exercise intensities for patients following heart attack. One of my first jobs following my degree was running cardiac rehabilitation classes. Whilst doing my sports science degree I developed a keen interest in all things movement and physiology and following the degree I did a year's diploma in personal training. After working as a personal trainer for a few years I met an amazing physio who inspired me with their level of knowledge of all things human movement. They encouraged me to study physio and I obviously didn't need much encouraging! as shortly after I returned to University to study physiotherapy. For the last 15 years, I’ve been working as a Physio.

My role at Health High involves running Personal Training sessions. I also support programming in the background when it comes to helping clients continue to move who have injuries. I’ve recently completed my CrossFit level 1 instructor qualification.

I am a father to three young children and husband to my amazing wife Tash. We have a busy (and energetic!) household and when not working we love getting outside and connecting with nature. It is not uncommon to see me cycling up Maungaraki Hill, running in Belmont regional park, climbing at Hang Dog and standing on my head... (in my own training I enjoy calisthenics!).

One thing I encounter frequently as a personal trainer and Physio is people’s fear and uncertainty about movement; “can I lift that?” “Will I hurt myself?” “I’m too old for that” etc… Our bodies are amazingly adaptive organisms and we often underestimate what we can achieve or are too scared to try. Having guidance from a fitness professional can ensure you get the most out of the time invested in physical activity and push you to achieve goals you never thought you could achieve!

My goal is to support people to improve their health, fitness, wellness - both mental and physical through regular physical activity in a way that works for them and their bodies. One of my very first patients I treated as a physio said to me (and he was right) “health is wealth”.
